eFlexervices is partnering with a U.S.-based consumer product company that sells specialty apparel products to independent retail boutiques across the United States. We are looking for a Customer Success & Account Manager who enjoys building long-term relationships with customers and helping small retail businesses grow.
 

This role is ideal for someone with experience working with retail products, apparel,

accessories, or consumer goods, and who understands how boutique store owners operate. This is not a high-pressure sales role. Success in this position comes from building trust, maintaining strong customer relationships, and helping customers find products that fit their needs, store, and clientele.

About the Customers You Will Support

Our client sells products to independent boutique retailers throughout the United States.
Many of these boutique owners:

  • Have owned their stores for decades
  • They are typically 50+ years old
  • Value relationships and personal service
  • Prefer conversations that are friendly, thoughtful, and not rushed

A large portion of these customers is located in the Midwestern United States, where business conversations tend to be more conversational and relationship-driven. Because of this, the ideal candidate is someone who can communicate clearly, confidently, and naturally, without sounding overly scripted or overly corporate.
 

What you’ll be doing:
 

  • Managing a portfolio of boutique retail accounts
  • Checking in with customers to understand how products are selling
  • Building relationships with store owners and buyers
  • Introducing complementary products that may fit their store
  • Helping re-engage accounts that have not purchased recently
  • Providing helpful product knowledge and recommendations
  • Communicating customer feedback to internal teams
  • Maintaining organized notes on customer conversations and activity


This role focuses on relationship management and customer success, rather than aggressive

outbound selling.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer success, or account management
  • Experience selling retail or consumer products
  • Experience working with small business customers or retailers
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and order management tools to track activities and outcomes.
  • Comfortable working night shift aligned with U.S. business hours
  • Prior remote work experience is strongly preferred

Candidates with experience only in technical support, SaaS sales, telecommunications, or call center roles may not be the best fit for this position.

We are looking for candidates who have experience selling physical products, especially in retail or consumer goods industries. Strong candidates often come from backgrounds such as:

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys long-term customer relationships, not transactional sales.

 

Hiring Process

A short conversation to understand your background, experience, and interest in the role.

  1. Interview with our internal team

You will speak with a member of our leadership team who works closely with our clients to identify the right candidates for their business.

During this conversation, we will discuss:

  • How you approach customer conversations
  • How you manage a portfolio of accounts
  • How you build long-term relationships with customers
  1. Client review

If we believe your experience and communication style align well with the role, we will share your profile with our client.

  1. Client interview

The client will review your profile and decide whether they would like to schedule a video interview.

  1. Final decision

If selected, our team will guide you through the final steps of the hiring process. Because we carefully evaluate candidates before presenting them, the process may take a couple of weeks from the initial screening to final interviews.
