Summary

The Customer Success & Inside Sales Specialist acts as a dedicated brand partner for a portfolio of specialty retail and boutique clients within the intimate apparel and garment industry. This is not a reactive support role; it is a proactive, relationship-driven position designed to bridge the gap between wholesale supply and retail success.

You will own a "book of business," serving as the primary point of contact for busy small business owners. Your goal is to ensure their shelves stay stocked and their businesses thrive by providing high-touch service, expert product guidance, and proactive replenishment support.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Account Ownership: Proactively manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of boutique and specialty retail accounts.
  • Relationship-Driven Outreach: Conduct thoughtful outbound calls to check in with store owners, ensuring they have what they need before they realize they’re low on stock.
  • Consultative Growth: Analyze customer buying history to identify "missed" opportunities—recommending core replenishments, new seasonal arrivals, and complementary styles.
  • Order Facilitation: Assist busy boutique owners in completing orders, navigating the catalog, and managing the end-to-end order process to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Strategic Touchpoints: Increase the frequency and quality of customer interactions to drive long-term retention and increase "share of wallet."
  • Insight Management: Maintain detailed records of customer preferences, fabric favorites, and seasonal trends to provide a highly personalized service. Manage and support a portfolio of specialty retail and boutique accounts

Qualifications and Requirements:

Required Experience and Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years in Customer Success, Inside Sales, or Relationship-Based Sales (specifically handling a book of business).
  • Industry Context: Previous experience supporting retail, apparel, DTC, or consumer goods brands is required.
  • Phone Comfort: You are energized by frequent phone interactions and are skilled at navigating voicemail-heavy environments with persistence and grace.
  • Technical Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and order management tools to track activities and outcomes.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the lingerie, intimate apparel, or fashion wholesale market. Experience selling directly to small business owners or independent boutiques is a major plus.

  • Experience within lingerie, intimate apparel, or fashion wholesale.
  • Experience supporting boutique or specialty retail customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and order management tools.
